Thanks for reading this first of all its much appreciated.
I have 2 cats a male 2 yrs old Gray short hair. Who is not fixed but going to be in one week. I also have a 2 month old female black calico who will be getting fixed when the Vet says she is able.So the story is I have seen him basically attack her from behind and try to mount her. Is there a temp deterrent to stopping this til he's fixed and gets it finally? I've tried water bottles, submissive pose like mom would do and he keeps going for it. I refuse to swat or treat with any type of abuse. Its gotten to the point she screams very loudly and I'm worried in his energized state he's going to seriously hurt her.

If your female kitten is only 2 months old, she is too young to be in heat, so she can't get pregnant.
I think the male getting her from behind and mounting her is a dominance act. Cats don't have sex like we do, they are attracted by the scent of a female in heat. The earliest a female goes into heat is 5 months and it is usually during the warmer weather when the days are longer.
But for the time being and to protect her from attacks, can you keep them in a separate room?
